Offering private and group lessons for art lovers of all ages and skill level. Never made art before? No problem!
Private art instruction will give you an opportunity to learn technique, explore different mediums and make new discoveries in art and yourself. All lessons are created for the individual to cater to your interests and artistic needs.
Private Lesson, 3 hours- $60
Group Lesson, 3 hours- $45 per artist

"Nicole is an excellent teacher and a gifted artist. I really liked her fun, easy approach to painting with oils. Before we started painting, she gave a concise but important lesson on the basics. She went over the color wheel and atmospheric perspective (the hazy background you get when objects are far away) and had handouts for me to keep. She also had landscape samples that I could choose from to start my painting. She gave me a succinct lesson on color mixing with oils: what to use (turpenoid, linseed oil or olive oil), why you use them, and how to mix on the palette. I especially liked how she kept the color pallet basic (yellows, blues, red, brown, black, white), but how I can make pretty much any color using a simple color wheel and mixing using experimentation. She went over what different kinds of brushes are good for laying down paint and creating different effects. Her abstract approach made it easy to create a simple outline for my painting.
